🔍 Before You Submit
Q 1. Do I need to format the manuscript before submission?

No strict formatting is needed at initial submission. Just ensure your article is readable and includes all necessary sections.

Q 2. Can I submit a preprint or a poster already presented at a conference?

 Yes. We accept previously posted preprints or publicly shared conference posters as long as they are properly cited.

Q 3. What files are accepted?

 We accept .docx, .pdf, .tex files (with all associated LaTeX packages), and .pptx or .pdf for posters.

Q 4. Can I suggest reviewers?

Yes, you can suggest or exclude potential reviewers. However, our editorial team makes final selections to ensure impartiality.

🧪 During Peer Review
Q 1. What type of peer review does OpenMed Research use?

We use a transparent, open peer review model:

  • All reviews are signed and publicly visible
  • Peer reviewers evaluate using a clear scoring matrix
  • Authors may revise and respond publicly
Q 2. Who reviews the article?

Qualified experts from relevant domains are invited based on keywords, expertise, and editorial board referrals.

Q 3. How do I respond to peer reviews?

Submit a revised manuscript and a clear response letter or public comment addressing each reviewer point.

📘 After Publication
Q 1. Can I update my article later?

Yes, you may submit revised versions post-publication. Each version gets its own DOI, and all changes are transparently tracked.

Q 2. Will my article be indexed?

Articles meeting peer review and editorial standards are indexed in PubMed Central, Google Scholar, Scopus, and others.

Q 3. What are the Article Processing Charges (APC)?

Our APCs vary based on article type and author country. Fee waivers are available for eligible authors without funding.
